GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

• When to Sow: March to May (for summer flowering) or August to September (for an earlier display the following year).

• Sowing: Sow directly where they are to flower. Rake the soil to a fine tilth and scatter the seeds, covering very lightly with approx. 3mm of soil.

• Temperature: Prefers a temperature of 15°C – 20°C for germination.

• Germination: Usually occurs within 10–21 days.

• Care: Thin the seedlings to about 20cm – 30cm apart to allow the plants to bush out. They perform best in full sun and prefer well-drained soil. Deadhead regularly to encourage even more blooms, or leave the final seed heads for the birds to enjoy in winter.
